This training will be presented by Mary Beth Schilling, LPC and will provide clinicians and helping professionals with a comprehensive understanding of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and its application in clinical practice. Participants will gain practical tools and strategies to effectively conceptualize cases and implement evidence-based CBT interventions across diverse client populations.
Training Objectives
Participants will be able to:
- Develop a comprehensive understanding of the theoretical foundations of cognitive behavioral therapy, including cognitive, behavioral, and emotional interconnections
- Enhance skills in case conceptualization using CBT frameworks to identify core beliefs, automatic thoughts, and cognitive distortions
- Apply advanced CBT interventions, including behavioral experiments, cognitive restructuring, and exposure techniques, across diverse clinical populations
- Integrate evidence-based CBT strategies into treatment planning, outcome monitoring, and individualized client care
