Training Title: Gestalt Therapy Deep Dive: Principles, Practice, and Clinical Application

This training will be presented by Amanda J. Holloway, LPC, CPCS and will provide clinicians and helping professionals with an in-depth exploration of Gestalt Therapy and its application in clinical practice. Participants will gain a deeper understanding of core principles, hands-on techniques, and practical strategies to integrate this approach into their work with clients across diverse populations.
Training Objectives
Participants will be able to:
- Develop a thorough understanding of Gestalt therapy principles, including the here-and-now focus, awareness, contact, and self-regulation
- Explore key Gestalt techniques, such as experiments, dialogue, and creative expression, and learn how to apply them in clinical practice
- Analyze case examples to enhance skills in identifying unfinished business, patterns, and blocks to growth within the therapeutic process
- Strengthen the ability to integrate Gestalt theory into treatment planning, interventions, and client-centered goals across diverse clinical population
