    We are excited to announce an upcoming Clinical Diagnosis in Practice: Evaluation, Formulation, and Documentation training session hosted by PIHC’s Emotional Wellness and Recovery Department in collaboration with the PIHC Institute on April 10, 2026. This engaging training will take place from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at 2800 Century Parkway NE, Suite 500, Atlanta, GA 30345 (Big Training Room).

    This training will be presented by Dr. Dustin Hall, MD, Psychiatrist, PIHC Recovery, and Darrius Thomas, MSN, APRN, PMHNP-BC, Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner, PIHC Recovery. The session is designed to support clinicians and helping professionals in strengthening diagnostic accuracy and clinical decision-making. Through applied instruction and collaborative discussion of real-world cases, participants will deepen their understanding of psychiatric evaluation, diagnostic formulation, and best practices in clinical documentation.

    Training Objectives

    Participants will be able to:

    • Strengthen diagnostic skills by applying DSM-5-TR criteria, differential diagnosis, and case formulation to complex clinical presentations
    • Deepen understanding of psychiatric evaluation processes, including symptom assessment, mental status examinations, and psychopharmacology considerations
    • Improve the accuracy and clinical utility of diagnostic assessments through collaborative discussion with a psychiatrist and psychiatric nurse practitioner
    • Enhance documentation skills to clearly and effectively record diagnostic impressions, assessment findings, and treatment recommendations to support coordinated care

    • $90 for participants outside of the agency
